This program is designed to provide targeted technical assistance, certification and bonding support, and training to minority and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs), helping them strengthen their operational capacity and growth strategies. Through this initiative, eligible M/WBE organizations will gain the tools and resources necessary to expand their operations and improve their ability to secure prime contracting opportunities with Harris County DEEO.

The purpose of the Board is to provide feedback and recommendations to DEEO (Department of Economic Equity and Opportunity) and other appropriate County departments on County programs and policies that recognize and support Essential Workers. The Board may also serve in an advisory capacity to the Commissioners Court on such programs, and policies.
