M/WBE Pathways to Prime Grant Program

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the Pathway’s to Prime Grant Program is to provide targeted technical assistance, training, and support aimed at creating and enhancing the M/WBE's business operational capacity and growth strategy.

The goals of the program are as follows:

  • Improve the extent to which M/WBE businesses participate in Harris County contracting opportunities
  • Build M/WBE’s experience and competency
  • Provide a solid foundation for expanding operations and prime contracting capacity with the County

Pathways to Prime Awardees

The following Pathways to Prime Awardees will be facilitating programs ranging from Certification Support, Networking events with Prime Contractors, Procurement Response Assistance, Educational Workshops and Proposal Development.

The Harris County SIBGOV® MWBE Government Procurement Conference and Empowerment Forum- titled Pathways to Prime: Equipping Local Entrepreneurs to Succeed is designed to educate, equip, and empower Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) with essential resources and knowledge to thrive in contracting with Harris County. Attendees will benefit from valuable networking opportunities, skill-building workshops, and educational sessions with procurement experts, all tailored to support MWBE business owners in becoming competitive and successful prime contractors.
